Program Types
Training Programs
Video can be a terrific way to train your employees. The old adage “A picture is worth a thousand words” has never rang more truly than in a training situation. Scenario-based programs using professional actors or carefully selected employees can add a compelling realism to your show. Humor or drama, properly wielded, can entertain your viewer while he or she is absorbing your message. A program can use macro photography to demonstrate intricate parts clearly. The message may be supplemented with graphics containing exploded views of an assembly or an animation of the interior workings of a part that is usually enclosed, holding its inner workings out of sight. Slow motion photography allows the viewer to analyze motion at whatever pace is needed to fully understand the topic.
It is often unpractical or overwhelmingly expensive to bring each employee to every corporate facility, out to the field or onto the factory floor. A well-produced training video can bring the classroom into your conference room or onto each employee’s desktop. A training video can either supplement an instructor-led class or act as a stand alone tool to be used corporate wide. It can be delivered via DVD mailed to each company site or across the web. In many cases, it can be delivered via satellite to your remote locations as part of a video teleconference.
An advantage of training with video is repeatability. In contrast with live, instructor-led training the message is presented in exactly the same carefully developed manner in every single performance. No longer will you have to deal with the travel logistics of mounting a multi-city road tour or deal with the vagaries of the human delivery. The program can be rewound for multiple views, freeze-framed for discussion time, or be distributed for posterity to every member of the target audience for a modest cost per copy.
Marketing Programs
Using video has proven to be a most effective way to market your product or services. Television is a medium that everyone is comfortable with. It is the quickest way to reach a large audience and can leave a powerful impression.
There are a large number of ways to distribute these moving images. Broadcast television gives you the largest audience for your commercial or infomercial. On your website you can offer the opportunity to stream clips from your corporate video, download product videos or play your latest commercial. We can provide video clips that will play on a PDA or an iPod. Many churches and public buildings are now running video on an outdoor LCD or plasma screen.
The DVD that you supply to your sales team can hold a wealth of information for your targeted buyers. A typical DVD can hold your corporate image video, a taped message from your president or CEO, and dozens of short product videos – each listed separately on the menu and with its own chapter stop. Multiple languages and open captioning are no problem.
In addition to the video production, JHT will design and implement all of your packaging and distribution needs. We can match or complement all of your existing collateral materials, or design a totally fresh look for your company.

Infomercials
Infomercials are television commercials that run as long as a typical television program. Infomercials, also known as paid programming, are normally shown late at night or early in the morning. This is primarily due to the reduced expense of airtime outside of peak hours.
The content is a commercial message designed to represent the products of and to serve the sales goals of your company. Infomercials are often made to closely resemble actual television programming, usually talk shows, with minimal acknowledgement that the program is actually an advertisement.
Infomercials are designed to solicit a direct response which is specific and quantifiable and are, therefore, a form of direct response marketing. In most commercials, advertisers do not solicit a direct response from viewers, but, instead, brand their product in the market place amongst potential buyers
An infomercial gives you the opportunity to influence for a longer period of time. JHT has produced infomercials for the local and regional markets.
Trade Show Videos
The reason you attend a trade show is to get your company noticed. One way to stand out from your competitors and capture show-goers attention is with a broadcast-quality trade show video. Potential customers love to watch videos because it gives them the chance to learn about a product or service without feeling like they're being "sold to" - when in reality, that's exactly what's happening. This gives companies a well trained sales person working in the background to keep the attention of potential customers while your actual sales staff is busy closing the deal with active customers.
High-end special effects, beautiful images and a custom-designed soundtrack all work in concert to give you an exceptional presentation that will stop passing traffic in their tracks. With JHT behind your trade show video you will get high-quality professional results and top-notch advertising productions.
Fundraising Videos
A fundraiser is an event or campaign whose primary purpose is to raise money for a cause, often benefiting charitable, non-profit, religious, or non-governmental organizations. No matter the cause, all effective fundraising videos have one thing in common – they affect the viewer’s emotions. Nothing can move a viewer like a well-crafted video. Poignant music accompanied by dramatic footage and a strong script can be a powerful motivator, especially when presented to a like-minded audience.
Fundraisers are just like any other money-making operation in that they work by exploiting the difference between the cost of producing the event or campaign and the amount of revenue it takes in. Successful fundraisers generally have found that producing a video is a very cost-effective method of earning revenue for the cause.
